Creating Audio Files

TextAloud can generate audio files from articles you've loaded. Available output formats include WAV, MP3 and WMA. To generate an audio file, follow these steps:

Load one or more articles into TextAloud.
From the menu, select Options -> Voices and File Options
Select the File Options panel
Choose an audio file format
Choose a Bit / Sample Rate setting
Choose an output file directory
Press the OK button
From the main window, press either the To File button in the toolbar, or the Speak To File button located in the Speed / Pitch panel under the toolbar.

If using Multi-Article mode, use the Article Options panel to determine if articles are written to one audio file or multiple audio files.
